Overview

Launched by the Hungarian Government, this is the flagship scholarship aimed at internationalizing Hungarian higher education. It covers thousands of students each year across all degree levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) in almost every field of study.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of an eligible "Sending Partner" country (nearly 100 countries globally).
  • Citizenship: You must NOT be a Hungarian citizen or dual citizen.
  • Age: Generally over 18 years old.
  • Merit: High academic achievement and strong motivation.

How to Apply

  1. Check if your country is a Sending Partner and read the official "Call for Applications".
  2. Submit your application online via the DreamApply portal.
  3. CRITICAL: You must ALSO submit your application to the responsible authority in your home country (e.g., Ministry of Education).

💡 Tip: The biggest mistake applicants make is failing to apply to their home country's sending partner. Without the nomination from your home country, your application will be automatically rejected by Hungary.
