Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to international students enrolled in Japanese universities who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to international understanding. Scholars are expected to interact with Rotary Club members and participate in community events.

• Status: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate (3rd/4th year) or graduate program in Japan.
• Language: Must have a conversational level of Japanese to interact with Rotary members (often JLPT N4 or above is preferred).
• Age: Usually under 39 years old.

1. Apply through your university in Japan (some Rotary districts allow direct application, but most require university nomination).
2. Submit an application form, essay, and recommendation letter.
3. Attend an interview with the local Rotary Club (conducted in Japanese).
