Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship supports outstanding doctoral candidates whose research relates to Humanities and Social Sciences, specifically focusing on Human Rights, Responsible Citizenship, Canada & the World, or Natural Environment. Beyond financial support, Scholars participate in leadership training and public policy networking.

• Program: Enrolled in or accepted into a full-time PhD program in Humanities or Social Sciences (1st or 2nd year).
• Citizenship: Open to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, and Foreign Nationals enrolled at a Canadian university.
• Focus: Alignment with one of the Foundation's 4 core themes.
• Qualities: Academic excellence, commitment to public engagement, and pluralistic leadership.

3. Shortlisted candidates are invited to an interview process with the Foundation's selection committee.
