This scholarship helps students with Hungarian roots reconnect with their heritage while earning a high-quality degree in Hungary. It provides strong financial support for full degree studies or exchange programs.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Heritage: Must have Hungarian ancestry (and be able to prove it with a recommendation letter from a Diaspora organization or diplomatic mission).
  • Residency: Must live outside the EU, Serbia, or Zakarpattia Oblast (Ukraine) for at least 10 years.
  • Commitment: You must commit to learning the Hungarian language and culture during your studies.
