Government Scholarships of the Czech Republic

The Government of the Czech Republic provides scholarships within its Foreign Development Assistance Programme. These scholarships support students from specific developing countries who wish to study at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. It covers programs taught in Czech (with a preparatory language year included) as well as selected English-taught Master's and Doctoral programs.

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of an eligible developing country (e.g., Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Zambia, Ukraine).
• Degree Level: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD.
• Language: Must meet the university's language requirements (Czech or English depending on the chosen track).

1. Applications are submitted electronically via a dedicated portal (registr.dzs.cz).
2. Register and complete the online form, including an entrance motivation test.
3. Successfully nominated candidates will be invited for an interview at the local Czech Embassy.
